Let's Build a Village: Support Group for Moms

First Wednesday of Every Month
Time: 12:00-1:00 PM
Location: Virtual | Registration Required

Our Support Group for Moms is a welcoming virtual space for mothers raising autistic children and young adults to connect with people who truly understand the joys, challenges, and everything in between. Meeting over lunch, this is an hour to slow down, bring something to eat, and have a space where you don't have to have it all figured out. Whether your child is newly diagnosed or your family has been navigating autism for years, and regardless of your child's age, abilities, or support needs, you are welcome here. Come to celebrate a win, talk honestly about something that feels hard, ask a question, share what's working, or simply listen and feel less alone. Along the way, we'll also share resources and practical, behavior-analytic strategies in everyday language—tools and resources that can help with the real situations families are navigating. More than anything, this group is about building a village: creating a community where moms can show up as they are, learn from one another, celebrate together, and know they have people in their corner.

The group will be co-hosted by Amy Turner, Assistant Director of the Autism Alliance and Kelly Sandler, owner of Aspire to Be LLC.
