Autism Alliance is a recipient of the 2022 Autism Community Impact Grant from the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation

Autism Alliance is thrilled to be a recipient of the 2022 Autism Community Impact Grant from the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation. This grant will directly benefit the MetroWest Autism Alliance families as we continue to provide resources, support and recreation to families with autism. Both Autism Alliance and The Flutie Foundation look forward to the day when every community offers respect, opportunity, and inclusion to all those affected by autism.

The Autism Alliance program consists of more than 2,600 families and specialists in the field. We are truly a community of people sharing information and experiences while offering support in a variety of ways. Our goal is not simply to provide families with programs and knowledge to live with autism. Rather, it is our mission to help families learn, flourish and grow.

The Autism Alliance is committed to serving families from diagnosis through early adulthood. With generous funding from donors such as the Flutie Foundation we are able to offer our families support by way of resources, parent trainings and clinics, support groups, school vacation week programs, summer outings, social activities, exclusive teen programs, sensory-friendly community events, and so much more.

The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, based in Framingham, MA, awards grants annually through a competitive application and review process. The signature grants that the Flutie Foundation distributed this year support traditionally under-served, under-funded, culturally diverse communities reflected in the Foundation's areas of interest; providing a path for educational and vocational skills, supporting recreational and active lifestyles, and ensuring people with autism are safe, supported and informed.
