The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) has released the following important information for children between the ages of 6 and 17 years old who are:

- Currently eligible as a child for the Department of Developmental Services (DDS)
- Currently enrolled in an approved school program through the local school district and has an IEP
- Currently living at home

If your child meets these eligibility requirements, please fill out the Interest Form. The link to the DDS website is here for those who require translated materials.

Program Overview:
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE/DDS) Program is designed to provide in-home and community based therapeutic supports to students ages 6 to 22, who demonstrate a need for services to prevent residential placement. This Program also offers an increased level of support services to families whose student returns from a residential school placement and requires assistance to remain at home.

We urge all families who meet this criteria to fill out an Interest Form and mail it back between May 7 - May 31st. This program provides critical supports to families in need. If you have any questions about the program, please do not hesitate to call our office: 508-652-9900 or email.
