Subject: Coronavirus Update for Individuals and Families
Dear DDS Community:
Much has happened in the weeks since my last message. I’d like to provide an update on the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) response to COVID-19 as of Friday, May 22.
The Framingham-based Autism Alliance, a program of Advocates, announced “exciting progress” to its Autism Welcoming Community Initiative.
The initiative seeks to create a socially inclusive MetroWest community for those with autism and their families, according to Allison Daigle, executive co-director of the Autism Alliance.
The Autism Alliance, a program of Advocates, this month announced progress with its Autism Welcoming Community Initiative, an effort to create a socially inclusive community for families and their loved ones with autism by partnering with local businesses and training a caregiver workforce.
Framingham Public Schools has partnered with Autism Alliance a program of Advocates and the Explorers Program to enhance this special experience for families.
