Autism Welcoming Information

Topsfield Fair is an Autism WelcomingSM certified event. Organizers are proud to support individuals with autism by offering Sensory Day! Sensory Day is an opportunity for a more sensory-sensitive experience to the Topsfield Fair. Vendors will have no flashing lights. Sound for entertainment and stages will be lowered and announcements on the grounds will be limited and turned down as well. Sensory Day will be held on the first Monday of the Topsfield Fair. Click here for more details including sensory friendly map, social story and more. Additionally, organizers of the Topsfield Fair have implemented everyday accommodations. These include: Autism Welcoming trained staff, calming kits, identification / if lost stickers, a social story, and more. Download their sensory-friendly map here. This map was created so caregivers can find a simplified route to avoid crowds.
