Autism Alliance Honored As One of The Top 40 Organizations Serving Families With Autism
We are happy to announce that The Autism Alliance was chosen by The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, as one of 40 grant recipients to receive funding to support families affected by autism.
On December 8th, 2017 The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation awarded a total of $448,436 to 40 organizations in one of three categories: Improving Access to Services, Active Lifestyle, and Adult Independence. The Autism Alliance attended The Autism Partner Summit at the Boston Marriott Newton and received $15,000 in the Active Lifestyle category to provide families with vacation programs, family events and individual grants.
The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps people with autism have access to care, lead more active lifestyles, and grow toward adult independence. The Foundation was established in 1998 and serves families throughout New England and beyond. The Foundation has awarded 14 million dollars since its inception.
