Chris is one of the founding members of the Autism Alliance. She has worked over the years advocating around issues affecting people with autism. Through her work with Advocates for Autism in Massachusetts (AFAM), she provides relevant information to the Alliance about what is going on at the Massachusetts State House. In turn, she brings concerns that the Alliance identifies, as it serves families, forward to our state legislators.
As the parent of a son with autism who is now approaching 30 years old, Chris wants to share her family’s experiences with other families on their own journeys in any way that is helpful. She continues to lead as Chair of the Governing Council.
