Kelly was working in advertising sales for Glamour magazine when her first child, Ryan, was diagnosed with autism at 20 months. Between caring for Ryan (now a junior in high school), and a newborn, Kelly poured herself into learning everything she could about autism, until she found the Alliance in 2004. Over the years, she began volunteering, and then served on the Board for several years before joining the team part-time to support marketing, communications, and events efforts.
Kelly is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a degree in Marketing and Management Sciences. In her role for the Alliance, Kelly ensures families in the MetroWest area know about services, programming and advocacy information through the website, social media, and other marketing channels. She also participates in supporting families through one-on-one clinics.
“When you are in a position to help someone else, based on your own family's unique experiences, it feels good. We are all on this autism journey together, looking out for one another and paying it forward."
