April is Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month
It's Autism Awareness and Acceptance month and there are plenty of activities and events to get involved and support the cause. Barnes & Noble in Framingham is hosting their first ever sensory-friendly shopping hour on April 7th. Through the generosity of The Flutie Foundation, we will be hosting three April school vacation activities. We look forward to seeing all registered families at these fun events. And of course, we hope to see everyone at Kite Day on Saturday, April 28th from 11am - 2pm at Bose in Framingham!
Our yearlong 25th Anniversary celebration continues! Just last week we provided a pizza luncheon and therapy dog visits to a lucky classroom in Natick. This month, we are hosting a private party at Sky Zone! We have rented out the facility and will host 70 lucky individuals for one hour of jump time. Participants have all been chosen randomly and notified. If you entered the raffle, but were not notified, you have automatically been added to our waiting list.
Whether it's a monthly support group, phone consult or program event -- we look forward to connecting with you this month.
* Thank you to the Salute to Framingham Committee for honoring The Autism Alliance with the Jim O'Connor Community Service Award on March 22nd. We are humbled to receive this recognition.
