About Southwick's Zoo
Southwick Zoo is the largest zoo in New England, spanning over 300 acres and home to more than 115 species. In addition to the animal exhibits, Southwick’s offers a petting zoo, pony rides, camel rides, and a play area for children. Feed a giraffe, see New England’s largest collection of primates, or walk amongst the deer and goats. While you’re there you can also enjoy a thrilling ride on the Soaring Eagle zip line, catch a bird’s-eye view of the park from the Skyfari Sky Ride, or enjoy a train ride near the interactive mining attraction.

Southwick’s Zoo is Autism WelcomingSM certified and is proud to support individuals with autism. The staff and volunteers are committed to providing modifications, as needed, to ensure all who enter the zoo feel truly welcome. They have everyday accommodations including calming kits which can be found at the Guest Services window. Additionally, guests can view and download Social Stories to help prepare for their visit.
